Hi All!

I’m still feeling a bit sick, but I wanted to share a few things with you!

First, you need to check out 30 Days of Lists. It’s a wonderful new challenge that motivates you to write something everyday. The girls post daily prompts in the form of a list, and also encourage you to share your lists in their flickr pool. I’m going to play catch up this weekend on my lists!

Next, you’ll want to register for Home Ec – an online sewing class! You might recall that I took this course last year and it really encouraged me to love my sewing machine. I started off not knowing how to even wind my bobbin, let alone thread my machine properly and this course taught me a ton.

I want to share a little personal project of mine with you in hopes that you’ll want to get involved too. I’m in the process of setting up a fitness blog, and I thought it would be great to include a few other crafty people who are interested in losing weight, getting healthy and blogging about their experience. I’m hoping it will motivate me to get healthy and shed some pounds  If you want to join me, or want more information please email me at cryssi@getcraftee.com

Monday already?!?

Inspiration is all around us.  It’s  in our homes, it’s on our route to work, it’s in the magazines and books that we read.   It is always in our subconscious, but may not be noticed until it is tapped into and ready to be accessed.

For those times when the “idea well” has run dry, here’s one magazine that may get your mojo back.  It’s called Cloth Paper Scissors and the pages are filled with wonderful and comprehensive craft projects with step-by-step instructions to get your creative juices flowing again.
